Rube Goldberg Machines

Over the last several weeks students in the Advanced STEM elective have learned about Rube Goldberg Machines and have designed their own in teams of 4-5. All machines have to perform at least 5 steps and incorporate all 6 simple machines. The machine must be able to successfully pop a balloon or ring a bell at the end. I wanted to share some photos with you of the construction process. My hope is to also have students capture their machines on video after they are up and running. More to come on that.
