Playing Catch Up!

I had the best of intentions of keeping the blog posts coming all school year, but the end of the year got away from me. Here are some examples of projects students worked on to finish out the year. I will resume posts once school starts.

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I am looking forward to an exciting school year coming up!

5th graders designed and constructed balsa bridges.

Students took on the roles of accountant, project manager, carpenter, and transportation chief to compete their projects. Students had a budget, wrote checks to buy supplies, and kept a balance sheet.

6th Grade Tetrahedral Kite Projects-

Advanced STEM Balsa Gliders and Rocket Launch

Thank you to the MN Space Modelers Association who came to LH to build and launch rockets with us!!
