What's STEMing from Lake Harriet

Here is a peek at some student projects from 2015. I have been back from maternity leave for about 2 months and students have been busy.
8th graders have been using their knowledge of different types of circuits, switches, motors, buzzers, and lights to design and build cardboard arcade games.
Games are still in progress. We hope to finish after spring break and move on to hot air balloons after taking a day to play the games!
4th and 5th graders are in the process of designing and building balsawood bridges.
